What would you say to people that are having a really hard time processing this idea that a mother would be capable of doing this to our child?

The first thing that I would ask that person is, one, do you believe that evil can walk boldly among us?

And then the second thing is, is please have an open heart and an open mind and look at the evidence.

Let the evidence lead you to a conclusion because in Alyssa's case,

we can take you down an evidentiary trail that is overwhelming. In most of these cases, where we see
