Hey church family, if you got your Bible, we're in Philippians chapter 2.

We're going to pick it up in verse 4.

And we're going to talk about how do you handle situations when they seem like they are out of control.

You ever get nervous? Never get control. You ever get nervous?

Do you ever get anxious?

You ever get worried?

As you know, the Bible commands us to not be worried.

Paul here is going to command us to not be anxious.

And again, if you listened to yesterday,

you'll know that if you read this in context, this comes

on the heels of relational conflict. And I don't know about you, but nothing gives me more anxiety

than relational conflict. And on the very heels of, hey, you two women in the church, can you

all figure out how to be reconciled? And if you can't figure it out you two women in the church, can y'all figure out how to be reconciled?

And if you can't figure it out on your own, the church can help you be reconciled.

And right on the heels of that kind of conflict, verse four, Paul says, from prison, rejoice in the Lord always.

And again, I will say rejoice. so when are we to rejoice always so if

if the situation that you find yourself in falls into the always category then Paul says that we

are to rejoice in that situation oh and in case you forgot it the first time or missed

it the first time, I'm going to say it again, rejoice. By the way, remember where Paul writes

this from? Prison. What's he going to do in prison? Rejoice. Hey, two ladies at the church, you two

can't figure out how to get along. Well, guess what you need to do in that circumstance? You need to rejoice. You just lost your job, rejoice.

Found out you're pregnant, rejoice.
