Hey, church family. It is time for Devo. We're going to pick it up where we left off in Philippians

chapter two. I think we're in verse 19. And Paul says this. He's continuing. Again, this is coming

off the heels of. Remember, on Monday, it was if you have received

anything good from the gospel, then make my joy complete by being unified. Paul, how are we going to do

that? Here's how you're going to do that. You're going to treat each other as if the other person is

more important or more significant than you.

That's how you're going to do it.

And this is how we're going to do it.

You're not going to complain and you're not going to argue.

Because when you don't complain and don't argue, you'll shine like a star in this crooked and depraved

generation.

And he goes on and says this.

Now he says in verse 19,

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon

so that I too may be cheered by news of you.

For I have no one like him

who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.

For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

But you know Timothy's proven worth, how as a son with a father, he has served with me in the gospel.

I hope, therefore, to send him just as soon as I see how it will go with me, and I trust in the

Lord that shortly I myself will come also.

Now, look at how, look at the language that Paul uses.
