Hey church family, it's time for a special edition of Devo.

As we are in saturated, Isaiah chapter 6 is where I'm going to be.

And in this special edition, what we're talking about is how do you hear from God?

I mean, if God has a call on your life, how do you hear from him?

We've talked about step one,

you've got to prepare your heart.

And now we wanna talk about conviction.

Because just even that phrase,

God's call on your life means that God is the one

doing the calling, not you.

And conviction plays a huge, huge role.

Your careers may change all the time, no problem.

Hobbies may change all the time, no problem.

Likes and dislikes, and you grow into things and you grow out of things.

But that is very different than being convicted by God of a thing.

Isaiah chapter six says this.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, this is Isaiah speaking.

I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up. And the train of his robe filled the temple

and above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings. With two he covered his face,

and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said,

holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.

This verse is key.
