Hey, church family. It is Devo time. If you got your Bible, we're going to be in John

0:08.0

chapter 6, and we're going to talk about doubts. What do you do when you have doubts? And I would say,

0:14.9

not if you have doubts, but when you have doubts. Maybe you've heard me say this before,

0:19.4

that the opposite of faith is not doubt.

0:21.3

The opposite of faith is fear because fear paralyzes and faith produces actions. So the question

0:26.0

then is what do you do when you have an unanswered questions, unanswered prayer, when you

0:31.8

just can't figure out in your mind how to reconcile a loving, all powerful God with pain and tragedy in your own world or in

0:39.4

the world. And so we'll pick it up in John chapter 6 beginning in verse 22. Now the first 21

1:10.3

going to pick it up after he feeds

1:12.1

the 5,000 and walks on water. Verse 22. On the next day, the crowd that remained on the other side of the

1:18.1

sea saw that there had been only one boat there and that Jesus had not entered the boat with his

1:22.9

disciples, but that his disciples had gone away along. Other boats from Tiberius came near the place

1:29.3

where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. And so when the crowd saw that Jesus

1:34.6

was not there nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and they went to Copernium

1:40.4

seeking Jesus. And when they found him on the other side, they said to him,

1:45.7

Rabbi, when did you come here? And Jesus answered them, truly, truly, I say to you,

1:50.3

you are seeking me not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

1:56.8

This is important. I think Jesus is a little, I don't know if he's frustrated, but he is,

2:02.8

he's definitely calling these folks out. He's saying that the reason that you're following after me
