Hey, church family, it's time for Devo again.

If you've got your Bibles, we're going to be in the book of Philippians.

It's going to start with chapter one.

I'm not sure exactly how far we'll make it, maybe through the whole chapter.

And again, this week we've been focused on what do you do when your schedule is totally different,

when everything's changed, when you've been, if you've been quarantined or at least instructed to not gather with large gatherings,

and again, all throughout the scriptures, there were times where the people of God just couldn't

go where they wanted to go and do what they wanted to do.

And in the book of Philippians, Paul is literally chained to a jailer as he writes

this. And so he is quarantined for very different reasons than we are, but he is stuck and he can't

go see who he wants to see. And so he writes this letter to the Philippians. He says this,

Paul and Timothy,

servants of Christ Jesus to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi with the overseers or elders and deacons,

grace to you and peace from God, our Father,

and the Lord Jesus Christ.

And then he says this.

He says, I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,

always in every prayer of mine for you, making my prayer with joy because of your partnership in the

gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to

completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all,

because I hold you in my heart for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the
