| 0:51.5 | After the S&P found the lows last October, it's been almost a straight up trajectory. |
| 0:57.2 | And the S&P was looking much stronger earlier this year to date |
| 1:05.0 | to date the S&P. Year to date, the S&P is now up 4.18%. |
| 1:10.0 | The Dow Jones industrial average is up just 0.77% and the NASDAQ is up 4.17% |
| 1:17.3 | almost identical to the S&P. |
| 1:19.7 | Precious metals have really been roaring back with a vengeance and year to date |
| 1:23.4 | silver is up 19.65 percent large gold mining companies are up 9.8 percent and |
| 1:30.3 | junior gold miners are up 11.32% year to date. |
| 1:35.0 | Last week the S&P slipped 3.07% in the week. |
| 1:39.0 | Most of this is due to interest rates and speculation about interest rates. |
| 1:44.0 | Coming into this year, the Fed talked about cutting rates six times. |
| 1:48.2 | Then it became three, then two, then possibly one, and now possibly none this year. |
| 1:54.7 | I think this is overblown. |
| 1:56.3 | I do think we are going to see rate cuts, |
| 1:58.4 | and I had hoped to see the first rate cut in May, |
