You may know him from the rugged Western 'Bone Tomahawk', or from his upcoming release 'Brawl In Cell Block 99', or maybe indeed from his illustrious alternate careers paths which weave between being a prolific novelist, screenwriter and musician (in bands Realmbuilder and Charnel Valley). However you've been acquainted with the man, you're about become even more so, as Pip chats heavy with him about the art of cinema, the filming and staging of a realistic fight scene, his own musical reward system while writing, how his films are positioned between arthouse and grindhouse, and how his film titles would be considered overly descriptive by today's standards. You'll also find out the original title for 'Brawl In Cell Block 99'! So there's a good amount of trivia to be enjoyed too. Awesome chat, and the perfect companion to any of his previous work, but definitely one to pair with the viewing of '...Cell Block'. Enjoy!
