1:14.6 | But, um, but I think for this week's cruise story, uh, we're going to be going on Oasis of the Seas. Is that right? |
1:22.1 | That's correct. It was a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise, uh, Talabody, Thalmouth,, and Cosmel on Oasis of the Seas. |
1:30.1 | And this was back in January, late January of this year. |
1:35.0 | Okay, nice. So where does the story begin? |
1:39.6 | All right. So actually, the story begins probably about a year and a half before this. |
1:45.7 | We were originally supposed to go on a cruise in September 2019, and it was going to be out of Fort Lauderdale. |
1:58.5 | And at that time, Hurricane Dorian was coming through. |
2:02.6 | So we literally, you know, our sailing was probably about a day before Dorian was hitting. |
2:10.6 | So, you know, they were still scrambling at that point and kind of determining whether certain ships were going to go out for the full |
2:19.5 | time and whatnot and we decided to actually cancel ours um good thing though we did have a travel |
2:26.0 | agent you know you always advised to have a travel agent they did all the work for us basically |
2:32.9 | rebooked our crews when we decided when we wanted to go. |
2:37.1 | So we decided to, you know, the only thing that changed really, we had the same itinerary. |
