my guest today is is an interesting guy and somebody have followed his career for quite

sometime for many many years or most of his career he was America's best marathoner

His name's Ryan Hall and when we say America's best marathon or we're talking sub one hour and the half marathon

We're talking sub two oh five in the half marathon. We're talking sub two-o-five in the full marathon.

Incredible runner. Interesting story. So Ryan ran most of his career at about 130 pounds and when he

finally retired he decided he was going to be a

powerlifter so now and you'll see once once you watch this he's 180 pound power

lifter when he first stepped into the gym he could do it he could bench his

body weight so he could bench 130 pounds. He's now benching somewhere around

325 I believe he said. His goal is to bench 400 by the age of 40 and the in the contrast

just the physical contrast is amazing to see and a fascinating guy very very

spiritual great family guy. He and his wife, Sarah, adopted four siblings

from Ethiopia, which when you watch or listen to the show show you'll realize that I failed geography

miserably and I didn't even know where Ethiopia was I had to give it a goog.

But to go to a country like that and adopt four siblings which were not young.

Some of them were, a couple of them were quite old,

just shows what a great human he is.
