Speaking of contracts, Ryan Gravenberg got himself a new deal, confirmed over the course of the weekend.

Let's talk about that.

Six-year contract.

I think Paul, he's been another one who I think has suffered for whatever reason in terms of his form.

He was absolutely exceptional last season.

One of the key reasons as to why Liverpool were successful in the Premier League. But again, I think he, like many others, has struggled to find that level of consistency and maybe hit the heights once again. But I think at the face of it, what Liverpool have done here is tied down a young and key Liverpool player to his prime years. So good news ultimately. Yeah, yeah, let's not forget he is the Premier League's young player of the year, isn't he raining? He's not hit the height of last season, like you say, but 23 years of age, Dutch international, with his best years ahead of him, who has already been an integral figure. I think it's fair to say from last season in Liverpool winning the Premier League. So, yeah, it's really good news. And what was interesting is there wasn't really any talk of, you know, the club and his agency being in discussions. And I think Liverpool appreciate that discretion. You know, it's how they like to operate. We've seen it with other agencies in the past. And, yeah, it almost come a bit of the blue, didn't it? Because we've spoken loads on

Andy Robertson, Dominox Aboslai, Ibukinarty, Alex is Macalester, who isn't at the moment and he confirmed that the other night but we've never really spoken about Gravenberg despite him being in the same boat

no one was really talking about too much.

And Liverpool feel it's just reward for the progress that he's made, certainly under slot.

the Cup games more often than the Premier League.

But Slot basically rejuvenated about Liverpool, didn't he?
