Ryan Garcia was born on August 8th, 1998 in California.

He started boxing at the age of seven, and he became a 15-time national amateur champion.

In fact, he left high school due to amateur boxing commitments.

So he was going to high school, whatever, but I don't think he never graduated.

He became a professional boxer at 17 in June of 2016.

In his first professional bout, he fought Edgar Mesa and won by a TKO.
