Welcome back to Buckeye Talk, I'm Stephen Means, that's Andrew Gillis, and that's

Stephan Christnick.

And we're doing something I think is fun, at least.

We'll see if these two think it's fun.

But we're going to have kind of a big picture little picture

conversation about Ryan Day in the Ohio State football program

and Dan Lanting in the Oregon football program

because this is, I mean it's a top three matchup and so this is probably the only game this year where you can have this type of big picture little picture conversation about where these programs have been since these two

head coaches have taken over where they are heading into 2024 season, where they are

heading into October 12th on Saturday and where things are headed as we

head into this new era of the Big Ten.

Well right now both of these teams are Five and O and two and oh and big ten play I don't

am I wrong for that step on is there any other program where like maybe we could have

any level of like a budding of the heads here to see where this is going to go.

We think these might be the best two teams in the conference for the next four or five years

here and this is kind of the genesis of it.

Yeah, I think the only team that I think would have had a plausible argument would have been Michigan

if Schiron Moore kind of kept the bus roll and going into the season.

You can't really discount the team to want a national championship.
