This is a special episode, one of our IRA weeklies, a little bit different different today because we are talking about the Oscars last

night. There are so many important moments to discuss and even to discuss where IRL is connected.

Like we feel very strongly on this podcast about a couple of people that were having an

amazing moment last night at the Oscars. So we shall discuss. Do you remember actually when we interviewed Tiana Taylor back in 2023?

You know, that was her, I think one of her first, like her kind of like her acting debut in a way for a thousand and one, which is a great film.

But, you know, in our trailer, how you introduce her is actually, you say, Future Academy Award winning, Tiana Taylor. Yo, I mean, I'm putting that out there. I'm really like, you know what I mean? Manifesting thing for people. It happens. There's a clip back in the day of me talking about people having babies together. It's like, it happened like three times. I was like, you guys are going to have a baby? And then they had a baby. It was like three times. I put that on somebody and it happened. So yeah, she didn't win the Oscar,

but she did get the nomination and she got all the glory of that moment. And it was just so much.

You could just tell she's like francing around and these amazing outfits in her glory. Like she's, I don't know, she's just in the space that she's worked so hard to be. And I think winning the award sure is nice, but I think it's beyond winning the award. It's just like filling up and being in the space that you're supposed to be in life. I feel like she's arrived in that space with or without an Oscar.

She's arrived in the space that she's worked so hard to be.

You could totally tell how happy.

I mean, I don't think there was anyone more happy just to be at the Oscars than Tiana

Taylor was.

You know, her category came really early on in the Oscars last night.

And when she, when she lost to Amy for weapons, that girl, the camera pants of her, I used to

Tiana jumping on my up and down.

Oh my God.

You thought for a second, like, did Tiana just win?

That's her way of showing.

Like, she's just, that's to me, that's exactly what I'm saying. It's like she's just happy to be in this moment. She's happy to be sitting next to Leo, happy to be in this class, happy to be making art that I'm sure she's super proud of. And, you know, sitting next to her mom who's been on this journey with her whole, I mean, she gave her her journey. Right. But like, I don't know, just the whole thing. Seeing Michael B. Jordan there with his mom, there was like a lot of love. And maybe it's just us. Maybe we're biased a little bit. But like, I just felt like it just felt like a lot of love was present yesterday. watching Michael B. Jordan win that award sitting next to his mother,

and he's been a working actor since he's a kid.
