podcast I work on. I'm Dan Clark and I commissioned factual podcasts at the BBC.

It's a massive area but I'd sum it up as stories to help us make sense of the forces shaping the world.

and tell amazing compelling stories that really get behind the headlines.

And what I get really excited about is when we find a way of drawing you into a subject

you might not even have thought you were interested in.

You're listening to BBC Sounds. So this is Yokohama where Wales will be playing in the semifinals on Sunday,

also a host for the Saturday game between New Zealand and England.

As mentioned in the earlier pod, I have a lonely planet guide, 964 pages long for Japan. The city of Kyoto has its own chapter, which is roughly

around 55 pages. In total, Kitakakeu, population 950,000 didn't even get one mention.

Yokohama is deserving of five pages in total, yet it has a population of three and a half million people.

However, all things relative, it does feel slightly more sedate David Pritchard than Tokyo.

Yeah, it's weird to say isn't it a city 10 times the size of Cardiff feels a little quieter than the Welsh

capital doesn't it it's a big port city I was trying to equate what

yukahama is to Tokyo to some friends.

And my first instinct was, is it a bit like Panathic

on a much grander scale?

Maybe a bit more like New Jersey to New York.
