All right, we're going to switch things up a little bit in the podcast and begin our podcast

with the news of the week because there's a story that we think you ought to listen up on because

it's a major controversy and it's brewing over the influence of RV voters who claim

residency in South Dakota even though most of their lives are spent traveling around the country

in their RVs. Now, South Dakota has

long been very popular with RVers because if they can claim residency there, there's no

income tax in South Dakota. It's very easy to get on-paper residency, and in most cases, they

register with a mailbox forwarding service.

So what's a political issue? Those traveling RVers are able to vote in places where they

don't really live, and they influence local elections, and state officials say those voters

tend to be Republicans, and note in one district

in Sioux Falls, they nearly tipped a local legislative race away from a Democratic candidate.
