Hey guys, Sam Roberts here with a very special edition of Not Sam Wrestling.

Now, you know, there have been plenty of times that we've done specials kind of like this before,

but never anything on this scale.

Never anything this big.

To me, this year, by far, the biggest story in professional wrestling was the retirement of

John Sina the death of the John Sina character and and a lot of times here on Not Sam

wrestling we've gone in depth and we've told the stories of of certain characters or certain segments of their careers.

But I think that one of the reasons that we're also connected to John Sina as wrestling fans,

whether we've been watching for one year, five years, ten years, twenty years, or more is because

John Sina is the extremely rare case of a superstar who has

hit the highest stratosphere that one can hit in the professional wrestling business,

but is a character like that that we can track from beginning to end all over the

course of what is really a single WWE run from unknown to goat the entire John Sina story is the story of one character that had a 23-year run

in the W.E. John Sina is so unique because at times we loved him, at times we hated him,

but we were really only indifferent about him

for the first six months of his career, maybe.

Other than that, he always made an emotional impact on us,

and he continued to do so all the way to the end.

We were so emotionally connected to this character that we still feel the feelings that we felt

at the end of John Sina's run.
