0:44.0	happened. Yes, my oldest daughter, she served her mission in France and she met a young man in
0:50.3	the MTC who was going to a different mission in France. But they came acquainted in the MTC.
0:56.0	They wrote their whole missions, came home dated and got married now. I have my first grandson.
1:01.2	So there's kind of a grandfatherly look, which I've always had, but now it's official.
1:06.4	Congratulations, John. That is exciting. John, we are continuing our discussion in the old
1:13.4	testament and I have been looking forward to this for a long time. Tell everybody who is with us today.
1:19.3	I'm really excited because I am very familiar with Gay Stratherns voice. I've watched so many
1:25.2	over the years of those BYU roundtable discussions and she's one of my favorite guests because
1:31.8	everything sounds more true with an Australian accent to it. The scripture sound better. Everything
1:38.6	sounds more eloquent and wiser. It does. Gay Stratherns is with us. She's a professor in ancient
1:45.5	scripture and ancient Near Eastern studies. She's taught at BYU since 1995, including a year at the
1:52.4	Jerusalem Center. She received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in
1:59.0	Australia and a bachelor's and master's in Near Eastern studies from BYU and a PhD in religion
2:05.5	focusing on New Testament from Claremont Graduate University. And this wasn't mentioned in her bio,
2:10.6	but she's the author of the book Covenant of Compassion, published by the religious study center at BYU
