A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a systematic

On the cross Jesus redeemed us and gave us new life.

We all know this, but sometimes the meaning of concepts such as redemption are not completely clear to us

Because of this God gives us pictures to help us have a better understanding And today we are finishing up our verse

study of God's picture book on Redemption, the Book of Ruth. As we continue this story

today, please keep in mind that there are three main characters

and these main characters are pictures for us there is Naomi who pictures Israel

Ruth who is a type of the church, and Boas, who illustrates Jesus.

Let's now join Pastor John and see a picture of the church being redeemed.

Also he said, bring the veil that thou hast upon thee and hold it.

And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley and laid it on her.

That's a big bunch of barley. Give me that veil.

She holds the veil before him and she pours out six measures or he pours out

part of me six measures of barley and she goes into the city.
