I started by asking Hamish for the latest updates from the battlefront.

Good afternoon, everybody, and David, it's a real delight to be here in Telegraph Towers doing it live, as it were.

I think a really fascinating last 24 hours, as usual.

But certainly what's happening on the ground, very much focused around back-mute, a serious fighting going on there.

Interesting comments coming out from General Riley, General Miley, rather head of the joint chiefs,

saying that the Russian forces are being slaughtered over the last 21 days in back-mute,

and some of those casualty rates are absolutely unbelievable.

In fact, I think Ben Wallace, the UK Defence Ministry yesterday, said 220,000 Russian soldiers dead or injured since the start of this conflict.
