Last night Vladimir Putin gave an hour-long television address to the Russian people over his decision to move troops into Ukraine. Amid international condemnation, Boris Johnson held a Cobra meeting this morning to discuss the UK's next moves. Meanwhile, Germany has put the brakes on Nord Stream 2.

1:36.6

Russian forces in these places. You know, they were little green men before. They're now going to be

1:40.5

wearing Russian uniforms. You know, that won't trigger the full set of sanctions.

1:51.3

So it was surprising this morning when the German Chancellor Ralph Schultz came out and said that Germany will now not certify Nord Stream 2.
