The U.S. is calling it a brazen violation of international law,

a Russian fighter jet crashed into an American surveillance drone over the Black Sea, south of

Ukraine. The drone did not have any people or weapons on it, but it was taken down and lost.

The White House says that's not the first time Russia tried to intercept a drone, but this is the
