I'm David Knowles and this is Ukraine, the latest. Today, we discuss updates from across

the battlefront and speak to Ukrainian chef and food writer Olya Hercules about her and

her family's experience in the war, Russian colonialism and the challenges faced by Ukrainians

who've left their country more than three months after the start of the invasion.

is away in Norway with the British Defence Secretary. I started by asking Francis for the

latest news from across Ukraine. Yes, well, several developments in the last few days

and, obviously, in the last 24 hours as well. So, first of all, Russian forces have cut off the

last route for evacuating citizens from the eastern Ukrainian city of Servedinetsk, according to

Ukrainian official there, as part of the Russian strategy to push for victory in the Donbass region.
