Investigators have detained a 26 year old Russian woman in connection with the explosion

which occurred at a cafe in St Petersburg as a blogger Vlad Lent Tatarsky was meeting members

of the public.

Media reports say he died after a statuette he'd been given by a woman exploded.

The spokeswoman for the Russian Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, confirmed the

detained suspect was believed to be that woman.

The Russian Investigative Committee, in cooperation with police, detained Darya Trepova on suspicion

of being involved with the explosion in a cafe in St Petersburg.

The necessary investigative procedures are now being carried out with her.
