I remember the day that Russell Wilson was traded to the Broncos. I posed the question,

what will be his new standard ubiquitous sign-off? Now that Gohawks has been retired and we've

what did he just say? I didn't know what that was and I didn't even know at the time that that was

his calling card and I found that out later in the day when I watched the video and I said,

what did he say? Let's ride. Okay. I don't know. But, you know, look, the one thing about his

signing is that, and this is the overriding thought I had when I left training camp is,

why would the Broncos wait? It's only going to get more expensive if they wait until next

off season. And if they make a deep playoff run, instead of costing them 47, 47 million a year

or whatever the number is going to be, it's going to cost them 60. You know, these are really smart

business people who bought the team. And I thought this was a very smart business deal that they made,

not just in the number, but in the fact that they continued to show to the rest of the league that
