Hello everybody and welcome back to the Monday

quarterback podcast it is Thursday March 7th. We are four days away from the legal

tampering period which both serves as an exciting time and the most

hilarious name in sports and then six days away March 13th when the new league year hits and everybody's got to be cap

compliant, pencils down, all that good stuff and of course at that juncture you can sign anybody

from anywhere and it goes from being

agreed in principle to agreed in terms.

So with that being said, thank you so much for everybody

being patient with us.

I know the last couple of weeks

we haven't been around.

We were at the combine. we're covering the Super Bowl you

know a couple vacation sprinkled in so it's been a little bit of a rocky time in terms of

the pod but we are back and back in force I am madteram as always joined by the great Gilberto Manzano and

uh, there's a lot to talk about. This week a lot of releases,

of speculation, we were both in Indianapolis.

I'd say, look, let's lead off with this.

So we're going to record yesterday, ended up moving it to today, and it kind of worked out

because the Buffalo

Bills yesterday decided to cut a host of players who are longtime starters, named

players, had a couple of restructures in there as well for those of you who

might have missed it they released Jordan Poirier
