I was telling you before we start recording, this new book, Losing Our Religion, is probably the best book

I've read so far this year.

And you shared early in the book. I've never heard you say this before,

that when you were 15 you thought about taking your life and you mentioned that it

was partially the work of the mere Christian, CS Lewis, that God used to help you climb out of that darkness.

What's the story there?

Well, I went through a spiritual crisis that really shook me.
