Well, we're going to do something a little bit out of the ordinary today.

My guest today is me, and that's a little bit weird, so I'm going to switch positions

with former guest, Arnold Kling, who's been a guest on Econ Talk a couple of times.

And he is going to interview me about my new book, The Price of Everything, A Parable

of Possibility and Prosperity, and I don't know who to welcome to the show, Arnold, I welcome

both of us to the show.

This was Arnold's suggestion, it was a fun idea, and now we'll see how it goes.

All I got a pre-publication copy of the book, it just came out a couple of days ago recording

this, what about the August 18th or so?

Yeah, I think in the 19th.

And I was immediately very much taken with it.

I think it works much better as a novel than either of your first two novels.

And I found myself tearing up at the end, and along the way it was a page turner, I cared
