Yes, so I am actually I'm a fifth generation farmer and

But yeah, so my journey, you know, I cleverly weave my life journey into many of my stump speeches and I let people know that I started this out as a single mother too. I started my first business when I was 21 years old. I've owned, you know, multiple businesses since, you know, the reality is it that, you know, in 2022, it is still the plight for African Americans to achieve the level of success we desire through

entrepreneurship.

And so for me it was working in corporate America by day being an entrepreneur by night and yeah I got there. But farming has always been a part of my life and it's a passion and a love that I share with my husband. And once you get over 40, you really start to look towards what is the legacy for our children are going to look like.

So five years ago we purchased an urban farm here in Gwinnett County.
