We're going to be talking with Rupert Sheldrake, one of Britain's most controversial natural scientists.

What I call the science delusion is the belief that science already understands the nature of reality and principle,

leaving any of the details to be filled in.

We've already figured out the way the world is.

That's the science of delusion.

The point about memory is that it's a relationship in time, not in space.

It's a mental event, a social event, a cultural event.

The point about my resonance theory is the resonance that comes across time.

So it's as if the whole of the past is potentially present everywhere.

Science simply can't deal with the fact we're conscious. The kind of science we'd have, with the fact we're conscious.

The kind of science we'd have

if we question these dogmas is so much more interesting,

so much more fun, and so much more liberating.
