been closely following the fate of fellow mogul Sumner Redstone.

His holding company, National Amusements, which owns Viacom and CBS, owes its creditors $800 million,

and that bill has come due.

But on a CBS earnings call last week, Redstone was

a bullion announcing that, quote, good progress was being made in figuring out how to repay his

creditors. New Service Reuters insists that the reason for Redstone's good cheer is not an overdose

of his favorite Brazilian superjuice, but rather a sell-off of his movie theaters,

and lots of them.

All of National Amusement's U.S. screens, except those in New England, are expected to go up for sale,

along with theaters in Latin America and possibly those in the U.K.

They could be yours for $600 million.
