Summary
Welcome to RUNNING THROUGH, a 5-day series on Hurdle showcasing stories of women who used running to get through tough life #hurdlemoments. You guys know the deal: Here on the show, I’m dedicated to bringing Hurdlers content that encompasses all aspects of wellness. Still, running holds a special place in my heart. While I originally leaned into running as a weight loss tool back in college, it’s turned into a passion of mine, helping me get through some of my biggest hurdle moments and connect on a deeper level with so many.
This week, in celebration of Global Running Day, we'll get vulnerable talking about tough topics like loss and grief, depression and postpartum depression, and how running and sport has helped them persevere, rediscover their self worth, and put on a brave face. For today’s episode I am chatting with Erin Azar, a self-proclaimed "expert struggle runner," who became "Tik Tok famous" during the pandemic for sharing her story with the masses.
