They will not be on today's episode. This week I sat down with Heather Higgin-Bottom

who is a long time friend of the pod. She was the Deputy Secretary of State for

Management and Resources but she's a really interesting background in foreign

policy because she came from doing domestic policy on the hill. She was a

campaign aide for President Obama for Senator Kerry and worked on a number of

races, most of them with us. Her trajectory into working in foreign policy was

very similar to mine. I think you guys will be fascinated by her journey

and impressed with what she's done and will really enjoy the conversation.
