Welcome everyone to the PFF Fantasy podcast. I'm your host John McGriff, fantasy analyst

here at PFF. And I am, of course, joined by Nathan Yonky. Long time no see, my friend

how's it going? It's going well. Happy to have our first episode on a Tuesday ever of our

rendition of the podcast. So happy to be on for back to back days. We only had our poll

going for one day. That was close. And we have lots of news happening just after we recorded

yesterday. Do that. We have to touch on as well. Yeah, this is, this is it, right? It's

August. It's fantasy draft season. There's really no better time to be like a fantasy football

junkie. And as we get to do more redraft drafts, not just best ball, we got preseason games,

which we covered yesterday in detail for those looking to hear our thoughts on those games.

And then like you said, of course, there is no shortage of NFL stories in the news cycle

as we get closer to the start of the season. One that just came in today before we go in

through some of the bigger news, news pieces from yesterday, Anthony Richardson quarterback

for the Indianapolis Colts was named the week one starter. This was one we felt was trending

in this direction for the most part for most of the off season. And it only felt inevitable

that it was going to be sooner rather than later that we got to see Richardson as the

starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. We got to see him a little bit in the preseason,

not a lot, but I mean, again, felt inevitable. We love we love Richardson for for fantasy

purposes for the most part. I don't know that I'm starting in week one, just to kind of see

what he looks like out there. But how about you, how you feeling about Anthony Richardson,

get in a shot to start the season? Feeling good. I feel like at this point,

him getting named the starter so early was more of a we don't want to hand you the job.

We want to make you learn that kind of thing, but they knew all along probably that he was
