And today we are talking to all the mamas out there. If you are a mom running a business or you're thinking about having children and running your small business, then this episode is for you.

I want to share a little bit of the struggles that we face as moms running a business,

especially if you're a solo female entrepreneur.

I remember in the very beginning stages of me first running my first business and my daughter was five months old

at the time. I was pretty heavily into postpartum, which was not the best. But I knew the

moment I met her, the moment I laid eyes on her, the moment Charlotte came into my life that she would

forever change me. I was in a job that was not making me very happy. And I knew I wanted more,

but I didn't really know if I had the courage to do it. And then when I met Charlotte, it was a gift. I looked into her eyes and I said,

no, not doing this anymore. I am going to do more for my life. And I wanted her to be proud of

me. I wanted her to be inspired that she could take action towards her dreams of whatever she wanted to do

would be possible. I didn't want her to think back at me and say my mom was never happy or I don't

really quite know but there was just such a genuine shift that happened and

you know there's something that is to be said about running a business with a child or multiple

children there's layers of protecting them and loving them immensely.

And then there's parts of you that want so deeply to grow inside of your business.
