My name, as Pastor Jack said, is Jason.

And for almost the last 10 years, I've been the pastor of a church out in the desert called

the Garden Fellowship.

That was up until two weeks ago.

Two weeks ago, the reality is two years ago, my wife developed like an anaphylactic reaction to the desert. She couldn't breathe.

Skin was doing some crazy stuff. And we're from like North County, San Diego. That's where I was

at a pastor at a church, at that church like that before. So we came back to speak at that church,

and she suddenly got better. And so we went back to the desert and she got worse and we came back

and she got better and I thought, I think I figured this out. So we moved to North County, San Diego,

and I've been commuting for two years, waiting for my wife to get better. And the Lord was just

really put on my heart like, hey, what if I don't, what if I choose not to heal her? Are you going to

drive away from her and do ministry for the rest of your life? And all you wives are like,

course he said no. At first I said, yes, I think that's exactly what I'm going to do. And the Lord's

like, do you want to ask me if that's what I want you to do? And so it was clear that it was time for me to step away. So now I can be with my wife and do ministry with my wife.

And what the Lord has next?

I've got no idea, no idea whatsoever.

But thank you, Pastor Jack, and thank you, Cavary Chapel Chino Hills, for allowing us to start this with you tonight.
