We always praise Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

We send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad,

wa l-Alahi wa sallam, his household, his companions.

We ask Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to bless them,

to bless every one of us, to grant us all success

and goodness in this world and to be able to live our lives

in a way that we can maximize on the reward

by reaching out to one another as humankind

and at the same time serving the Almighty primarily.

I mean, my brothers, my sisters, this morning

I got up to devastating news about bombings

that happened or blasts that took place in Sri Lanka

while the Easter festivities are going on.

And this happened in several churches as well as some hotels

and so on and I think it would be wrong for me to commence

without mentioning this and condemning it very, very strongly.

We are Muslim, we believe in peace.

And actually what happens in terms of war

and difficulty hardship comes about after such blasts

upon the Muslims more than anyone else.
