Hi there, Calvary. Well, I can't be with you this weekend, but I am excited to tell you about

the guest speaker who's joining us today. His name is Art Reyes,

and he's the senior pastor of Calbury Chapel of Downey in the Los Angeles area. And what I love

about him is he shares my passion for expository teaching. I got to hear Art speak at a preaching

conference just this January, so I know you're in for a treat.

I'm so glad that he's with us today. So give a warm welcome to Art Reyes.

Well, good morning, Calvary Albuquerque.

It's such a blessing to be here with you all and meet you in person.

In so many ways, I believe that I'm a part of your congregation and your church, because I have been so blessed by learning from Pastor Skip Heisik.

And I think that this being his 70th now birthday this weekend, can we honor God and honor, Pastor Skip, for his faithful ministry in the Lord right now, that he's been so

faithful to be an example and a shepherd to this flock. And so it's been such a blessing to know him

and to be here with you all this weekend.

As he mentioned, I planted a church in a small city called Rosemead in Los Angeles, California.

And I still remember, there's somebody from Los Angeles here, I think.

But I still remember when the church was at a place where I knew everyone's name,

everyone's name by person, right, as I saw them, it was my wife, my brother, and myself in the church.

And my wife always complained about the pastor.

But it's been such a blessing that simply by the faithful teaching and preaching of the word of God,

God blessed that ministry and it was fruitful.

Many people came to know Jesus Christ's Lord and Savior.

And then years later, the Lord called us to move that ministry over to Calvary Chapel of Downey,

where he had called me, the Lord had divinely called us so that I would
