Would Washington have been better off playing the game on Sunday at its originally scheduled

1 p.m. Sunday time. I say that because knowing what we know now, Garrett Gilbert had to start the

game last night. He would have started on Sunday. They would have had Brandon Sheriff in the game. They sorely missed him last night.

The pass rush was relentless by Philadelphia. Washington couldn't run the football. Not saying

that that was the biggest issue. We'll get to the biggest issue and probably most of you know what

it was last night. But they would have had

Brandon Sheriff. They wouldn't have had Matt Ionitis, but they would have had a lot of the guys

that they ended up playing with last night because a lot of those guys cleared COVID protocol

before Sunday. They also would have had seven coaches. They also would have had Jalen Hertz without extra days to prepare for the game.

You know, Friday, he was designated as a game time decision. By Sunday, he was the starter.

Those extra days helped him get healthier. You would have also had a full week to prepare

for the Cowboys after the game on Sunday.

Whatever.
