| 0:13.5 | first time to listen to the Morning Minds at a special welcome to you, we've people listening |
| 0:18.2 | from all over the world. I'm looking at a map right now that shows the statistics of where |
| 0:23.2 | people are listening. I see people have listened in Greenland, in Norway, in the United Kingdom, |
| 0:29.9 | in Poland, in Romania, in Italy, in France, in Portugal, in Spain, all over Europe. People are |
| 0:38.4 | listening to the Morning Minds head. I would love to know where you're listening from. Please |
| 0:42.4 | send me an email, carry-c-a-r-e-y, at CarriedGreen.com. All right, today we are looking at Proverbs |
| 0:50.9 | chapter 24 verses 10 through 12. I find this to be a very interesting passage in the sense of how |
| 0:57.8 | relevant it is to our day and our age. Let's read together, and then I'll make some comments. |
| 1:03.2 | Proverbs 24 10 through 12 says, If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. |
| 1:11.7 | Rescue those who are being taken away to death. Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. |
| 1:19.1 | If you say, the hold we did not know this, does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? |
| 1:26.0 | Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it? And will he not repay man according to his works? |
| 1:34.5 | Now Solomon is giving us a huge lesson here in something we would maybe refer to as endurance |
| 1:42.4 | or courage. And he's explaining to us that when there is a crisis situation, there's some kind of |
| 1:49.8 | adversity that has shown up. It is the heart of a God-fearing person to step into that situation |
| 1:59.2 | rather than to step away from it and run. Notice in verse 10 he says, If you faint in the day of |
| 2:05.6 | adversity, your strength is small. Now it puts me in mind of all these movies you see where some |
| 2:11.3 | gentile woman is told bad news and she just fainted straight away. She just falls flat to the floor. |
| 2:17.8 | It makes me think, first off, I always wonder, do people really do that when they hear bad news? |
| 2:22.6 | Maybe there are people who that's their response. But notice what Solomon says about it. |
