I just want to give a shout out to all the reports going into this deadline that were like,

man, I think it's going to be pretty quiet.

I don't see really a lot of moves happening.

Teams are really shot off. They're going to push a lot of moves happening. Teams are really shot off.

They're going to push a lot of things to the summer.

And you know what?

These aprons in this new CBA is just stopping everything from happening.

And yet, I mean, Bobby Marks has been on this.

This is three straight years now that there has been a plethora of trades. And this trade deadline has been nothing but excited. I mean, but quiet. Like it's been rocking so far. It's been a lot of fun. It's a bonus episode of Locktime Mabbs. If you missed our episode with the Lockdown Wizards guys. We talked all about what the Mavs got in the Wizards trade, why the Wizards did the trade with Anthony Davis.

And so we get into all that. That was pretty fascinating to talk to those guys and see ourselves 10 years ago. because there's still time before the trade deadline.

And I think one of the big things that we haven't talked enough about with this Anthony Davis trade is the Mavs did it with over 24 hours before the trade deadline to spare. That there was still time, that they still had time to go do something else. And time to get something to eat. Time to go to the Mavs Pro Shop.

There's all kinds of time for the Mavs to get something else done. And one of my concerns going into this trade deadline was, what if the Mavs do nothing? Like, does that tell us anything about this co-interim front office and what they've been empowered to do? or if the reports that Patrick Jamot, the owner of the Mabbs,

really does want to see
