And we're back for another episode of Locked on Chiefs, part of the Lockdown Podcast Network, your team every day. I'm Chris Clark from Chiefs Quarter. This is my partner, Ryan Tracy, from RGR Football, Rogue APC, and NFL 33. And let's see, we've been doing this, what, 10 years now? I'm just going to call it 10 years. It may as well be 10 years at this point.

At the draft, it will be. We're a couple months away. So, and it's 10 years for the network in general, I think in June. So we're pretty much at the 10 year mark at this point. Let's dive

into the draft, though. This is 10 years doing this show. We're just about 10 days away from the NFL

draft. Kind of funny how all

this is coming to fruition. And it just seems like everything is kind of actually working against

Kansas City in a way when you start thinking about how the draft is and what it's looking like.

But let's just dive right in. We're going to be talking about the day three depth a little bit later on. We're going to try to get some starters in day two. But we have to start with the first round. And the Chiefs have two first round picks again. As we've been talking about, this is the second time since 2022 that they've had two first round picks. They did very well the last time they had two first round picks.

We will see if they can repeat it this time.

So let's go ahead and get started.

What are you wanting to get done in this one?

You know, I keep hearing about falling players and falling players.

And if that's the case, there's a scenario on the board now where the chiefs

come up at number nine and Ruben Bain's there, Jordan Tyson's there, Kenyon's there, Kenyon

is there, and even Tate is there. More and more I'm hearing in the last few days that people

feel like the wide receiver group as a as a whole is getting

pushed down for the offensive tackles from rumors around the league etc etc etc now i have no

idea whether just what everybody wants to hear about right what everybody the chief's kingdom wants to

hear about is that the tackles are going to go early because everybody's going to freak out thinking the chiefs are going to take one. We will see if that ends up being the case. I kind of doubt it. Do you want to pause it before we get to the Chiefs, or do you want to just let it go to nine? Do you have it set to slow? I would probably pause it. Okay, where do you want to pause it? I don't think they're going to go up to four, even though it's Burgundy.
