Mark Stein says the name most frequently whispered Dallas Target is actually former Golden State Warriors lead executive Bob Myers,

who would have, you know, Rick Welts,

who is the Mavs, you know, business, CEO of the business side,

who would have his backing, obviously, with years together with the Warriors. Bob Myers is currently holding an extremely lucrative job as the president for Harris Blitzer Sports Entertainment. It calls for him to provide high-level consulting to the, you know, pro-sports franchises. He's making a ton of money over there doing that. And, and been a thing about Bob Myers and the Mavs wanting to pry him away

because he would be a massive name.

He's a guy that obviously had a lot of success with the Warriors for a lot of years,

made a lot of really good moves for them.

Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Clay Thompson, Kevin Durant,

all those moves were part of that.

And the Mavs are swinging for him.

Messiah Jiri, who was the former Raptors president of basketball operations who helped lead them to the 2019 championship.

The names mentioned the other day, Sam Presti, Brad Stevens, Kobe Altman with the Cavs. The Mavs are swinging big. Dumont is swinging big on this. And I think the job is attractive because you have Cooper Flagg, you have a building block. You have an owner that wants to be hands off. I talked about it like it was a brokerage account. He wants a Batchamount wants a managed brokerage account.
