Talk about all that. Let's start here. According to the Miami Herald, the heat are interested in Clay Thompson. What do we think about Clay Thompson going into the season? Because he's kind of just been mentioned as, yeah, they also have clay. and he's mentioned in a good way when we're like, oh, the Mazz have added shooting. And I've mentioned him as like,

What do we think about Clay on this team right now?

I mean, I've, I honestly have never thought Clay was going to be a member of the Dallas Mavericks in October of 2026. Like that's how I've always kind of just felt. And it's that thing really against Clay. It's more so just he's getting up there in age. Who knows how many years he has left? I think he still can contribute. We've talked about this before. I think the average age to live is still like in the 70s, right? I think he's, yeah, it might be pushing 80. So he's got a long ways to go. He's not even like in midlife crisis stage. And really you have to take away your first 10 years because like that doesn't really count. Your first 10 years of life? Yeah, that doesn't count. Well, he's also a multimillionaire. So what's the life expectancy of a multi-millionaire, too?

True. Probably way higher. And also an athlete. True. That's, that's, you know, taking care of himself and doing all that. Taking care of yourself. But he's also a boatsman. So maybe that takes it down. maybe out of the sun a little too much.

You know, you have to factor that in.

He also angered the hotties from Megan the Stallion. True. He does have a pretty large stendom on his back at any given time. The reason why I say take out your first 10 years, I was thinking, because my birthday was recently and I was thinking, I was just like kind of having a crisis,, man, I'm getting old. And I thought about I was like, well, I only remember like a third of it so far. So it's not that bad. That far doesn't count, right? I'm like, yeah, a lot of times it has actually gone by. So it does, I does feel like it's gone kind of slow. But happy birthday, buddy. Thank you. But anyways, It's just like, Clay, the nabs, I think, have a chance to be pretty sneaky, solid next year. But maybe go to a place where he could actually compete for a legit ring in title and be a contributor there. I think it would be a cool way for him to end his career. So that's that I honestly want him to be on a new team next year. And it's not anything against him or him as a player. It's more so I want him to be a contributor on like a legit championship contender. That 24 hour period when we thought that it could be LeBron A.D. Steph Draymond, and yeah. I was like just buy him out, like just buy them out. Like just buy them out and send him over there just vibes. Like, just do the basketball world of favor and let that team actually play together. Of course, that doesn't seem to be happening at all because the Wizards want actual draft picks for Anthony Davis. I mean, they gave Tray Young $55 million. So if I'm Anthony Davis, I'm like, hey, but we just given those out. $55 million a year. Yeah, $5 million a year. So if I'm a idea, I'm just like, you guys are giving those away? I'm next. I had somebody in the chat yesterday asked if they can get a first round pick for Clay Thompson. I was like, I don't think you're getting that for Clay Thompson. He's an expiring contract, $17 million. Like he said, he's, what, 37. he can still shoot really well. And he could still defend at a decent level.

Like, I thought he was solid at times last year, for sure.

And, but I don't think that is, I don't think that is getting you a first-round pick at all.
