0:27.7	It is the oldest council of Olemah.
0:30.3	It's over 45 years old.
0:32.3	There are many others, but this is the oldest.
0:34.0	In the name of Allah, I am one of the younger members of the council.
0:37.0	The Firk Council assigned me the task of writing a fatwa about transgendarism
0:42.4	and what we as Muslims should be thinking and teaching about this very thorny issue.
0:48.0	So for the last few months, I was doing research and I submitted the fatwa eight pages long.
0:52.8	Some modifications that has now been approved is going to be published on the website
0:56.6	very soon, inshallah, you will find the full fatwa.
0:59.0	Today's khatera will be based upon that fatwa that is going to be printed online.
1:04.7	But please note, this khatera is from me.
1:06.8	The fatwa is approved by the entire council.
1:09.2	The khatera I'm giving right now, it will be a little bit extra.
1:12.0	So don't quote this from the Firk Council.
1:15.2	The fatwa, as I said, is eight pages long and I mentioned a number of points.
