The first of them is a basic, thick one, but it is one that is good to refresh our memories.

One of our local brothers here in Epic, he emails, and he, when we were doing the talk of the

Barzakh, we had mentioned the Prophet ﷺ saying that most of the Aadab al-Khabr is from

Najassat, is from not being careful with Najassat.

So our brother says, can you please, please remind us what are the Najassat and what are

the rulings for them?

So basic, thick, simple question.

The standard question, in fact, all of the books of Fikh, they began the very few first

chapters, always talk about the Najassat.

And obviously, my answer today will be summarizing, but for detailed studies, choose your

Medhab and choose a Fikh book.

So I'll briefly summarize, Najassat, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala tells us in the Quran

of the earliest of revelations, wa Thiyabaka, fatahir.

One of the first commandments in the Quran, which our scholars have interpreted to mean,

that we cannot have Najassat on our clothes and our body, with Thiyabaka, fatahir.

And the Shari'a has come with assigning certain substances to be impure.
