Let's break down rule number three.

We call it rolling with the punches.

I feel like I was punched in the eye recently because I had a little bit of non-scary cancer cut out above my left eyebrow.

And as I speak to you now, it is aching. The numbness that they inject into you has begun to dissipate and the pain has begun to mount.

Boxers get punched here all the time. If they're smart though, if they're smart when the blow, or it's not a blow yet, when the

punch is coming in, they're moving their head in the same direction as the

punch so that the blow is lessened. It doesn't mean you won't ever get

punched, but it means that the punch won't knock you down. It means you'll stay on

your feet. You won't throw in the towel. You won't quit. You won't get knocked out. You won't

see stars. I could keep going. I'll leave it there. Rolling with the punches means as life throws you, as life gives you lemons, make, no I'm just kidding,

as life throws punches, move your face or your body in the direction of the punch, which basically

means move money around, change your budget, reallocate, change your strategy. You are a dictator, you are a general, you are the boss, you can

change your mind on a whim. Your dollars do whatever you tell them to do. They're the most

obedient employees, children, even teenagers that

you will ever find. They are soldiers that never question in order.

They are teenagers that never talk back.

They are little kids that understand exactly what you mean when you list off what you need

them to do.

And they will do it exactly as you said.
