I am gushing star wars out of all of my pores and must say a couple interesting episodes that tie into a lot of shit.

Yeah, I had a feeling you would like this bad batch episode more than the previous ones and then the Mandalorian episode felt good to get back in the best car. You know what I'm saying.

Yeah, we had a lot to reestablish here and it wasn't necessarily the most event filled episode but we set up the season arcs and there's lots to get to set up season arcs and we start tying into some other stuff that's happening or has happened in an around.

That sector of the universe but let's start with bad batch episode 11 metamorphosis we start with one of the clone commandos.

Those are those clones that have those glow in the dark visors white and gray uniforms is running around is being hunted by something some creature very hard movie vibes alien.

They seem to be paying a lot of homage is all throughout this season to different movies yes every single episode has a different reference point here alien was definitely the homage of the reference point for this episode for the first half and then it becomes a Kaiju Godzilla movie.

Yes, we see lamb the shuttles flying into the planet with Mount Tentus. This is where they took the Caminoan scientists not let's say at the end of season one where I believe this massive cloning operation is happening for the empire again one of the big directives it seems by Disney and Lucasfilm is that all of these spin off star war shows and animation.

And animations somehow provide supporting evidence and structure for the abysmal end to the sequel trilogy which is somehow Palpatine came back and he was cloned so now everything we do in all these shows is trying to build us the backstory for all of that so it makes a little bit more sense than it did at the time lambda shadows come in and we get a mysterious doctor.

With one glove hand doctor is doctor hemlock and maize do you know who does the voice of doctor hemlock I was pretty delighted to discover this oh man this is straight out of sin of hope when you learn it's none other than McPoyle from always sunny yes Jimmy Simpson also you might recognize him as young ad Harris on Westworld perfectly creepy voice for this character but he's always going to be a McPoyle.

Well to me walking around in the bathroom drinking milk I really liked when doctor Royce hemlock took time out of his busy schedule to have a glass of milk so he goes and we see now let's say the Caminoan scientists she's in a prison cell in Mount Tantis so he goes and he has some exposition conversation with her.

Let's know her research remains intact and it now serves a higher purpose the emperors purpose and he wants her to just stop being a prisoner just get with the program and help me out with this thing but of course she refuses because the emperor and the empire responsible for the genocide of the Caminoan people destruction.

Of all the cities and facilities on Camino basically says well we're going to get you to do it one way or another what if we bring your prime minister here who's the only other Caminoan that was evacuated from Camino before it was destroyed yes so that means that it's just the two of them left or is there a colony somewhere no isn't there senator I thought that was the prime minister no that's not because the prime minister's a dude okay the senator was a woman you can.

Tell the Caminoan males and the females the males have that little ridge on top of their head oh that's right the senator is Halle Berry Bertone.
