Yeah, I'm still talking about guns, and we're still having fun.

People say, how can you talk for guns for three hours? No, no, no, no. I talk about guns for 12 hours a day, pretty much the whole time. We're at the Ruger booth at the NRA's annual meetings in Houston. Talking right now with Tabor Bright. Tabor, I was listening to the lead-in on this and it said something about why should you own an AR-15.

about why should you own an AR-15. I had a flashback. I was thinking about, you know, we've

been talking about AR-15s for a long, long time, and they were kind of niche in the marketplace

30 years ago, and there was one point where something changed.

And for me, it was when Ruger brought out an AR-15.

I said, man, when Ruger has an AR-15, it has gone completely mainstream.

Right?

Yeah, it really has.

I mean, I can remember that years ago, I mean, because again, I started behind a gun counter at 16.

Okay. And looking at, you know, Soldier Fortune magazine in those things and Ronnie Barrett with his guns on the cover and, you know,

articles about Eugene Stoner and Armolite and AR-15s and all of those guns. And I was, I mean, from the time I was that young, I was hooked on

AR-15s. Okay. So I've always had this great love of them. Yeah, but it was smaller companies. Oh, absolutely. It was Colt. Yep. But for the most part, it was smaller companies. It was not Ruger. It was not main, you know, they really didn't become mainstream until the internet and

social media and those things really grew and people saw all the different things you can do with them

and compete and hunt and protect.

Well, people started to understand them.
