How you've been, buddy? It's been a while since you've been on the podcast. I think it was like roughly a year ago.

And we haven't really chatted a whole lot. We didn't get a chance to hunt together this year.

So I wanted to get you on and talk about how your season was and all the stuff you guys got going on over at RGS. Yeah, man. As always, I appreciate it. Love the opportunity to hang out

with you guys and talk birds and always read the good word about RGS.

Yeah, man.

Season this year, something that was new for me,

which I was hoping to try to be able to connect with you,

is I kind of extended the season a little bit this year and made my way down to Kansas to chase Bob White's,

and that was an absolute first for me and man

am i hooked not going to be the last time you go down to go go and chase those little buggers yeah

that is a new standard order moving forward that uh i mean they're just such an iconic species I think that's what

attracts me so much to you know rough grouse and woodcock obviously that's you know

they're in my backyard per se but such cool little birds in that landscape we were

hunting more eastern Kansas definitely in eastern Kansas and I

haven't spent a ton of time out there in the topography and the terrain and the little

draws and all of those tree belts and where those birds were it was like this beautiful

blend of like kind of rough grouse hunting,

but so much more open at the same time, it was, I'm just hooked.
